Ready to Take the First Step?
Joshua House is a Christian residential recovery ministry serving men struggling with addiction.
For more than twenty years, men have come here looking for a way out of addiction and a way forward into a new life.
Our program is built around a simple belief:
Recovery happens in community.
When men are surrounded by structure, accountability, meaningful relationships, and hope, real change becomes possible.
Our program welcomes men from many backgrounds and circumstances. While our approach is rooted in Christian faith, we welcome anyone who is ready to pursue recovery.
Your Journey To Recovery
Recovery at Joshua House happens in stages, each builds on the last and are designed to build stability, responsibility, and connection while progressing toward long-term recovery.

PHASE 1 – THE CREEK
The program begins in a quiet, remote setting near Chilliwack Lake. Here, men step away from the chaos of addiction and begin the work of stabilization, structure, and reflection.

PHASE 2 – COMMUNITY HOUSES
Residents then transition into one of our Abbotsford homes, where recovery continues within a supportive community environment while men reconnect with healthy routines and relationships.

PHASE 3 – AFTERCARE
Graduates who are ready move into aftercare housing where they begin working, attending school, and rebuilding independent lives while still living within a supportive community.
Real Stories. Real Change.
Every man who comes through Joshua House arrives with a different story. Some come directly from incarceration, some from the streets, and some because their families have asked them to make a change. What they share is a desire to rebuild their lives.
Through community, accountability, and support, many discover that lasting recovery is possible.
Community Makes Real Change Possible
Joshua House does not stand alone. Our work is supported by a wide network of community partners, churches, volunteers, and organizations who believe in helping men rebuild their lives.
From local faith communities and volunteers to businesses and donors who invest in recovery, many people contribute to making this ministry possible.
Recovery is not something a person accomplishes alone.
It happens through community.
Throughout the year, Joshua House hosts events that bring the community together in support of recovery.
These events help raise awareness, build relationships, and support the work of helping men overcome addiction

Drive Out Addiction – Golf Classic
On Friday, July 10 (3pm shotgun start), we’re gathering leaders, businesses, and friends for a day that’s as meaningful as it is fun. Every team, every sponsor, every swing helps create space for real change.

Be Part of Someone’s Way Forward
The work happening here is made possible by a mix of public funding and a growing community of donors who believe in restoring lives. Because of that support, men who might not otherwise have access to help are able to step out of addiction and start building something more stable.
There are a few different ways to be part of that:
Every contribution helps create a place where real change can begin.
Whether you are seeking help, looking for information, or hoping to support this ministry, we invite you to connect with us.
