Completing a recovery program is a significant milestone, but recovery does not end there.
Returning to everyday life brings new responsibilities, decisions, and pressures. Stable housing and a healthy community can make a lasting difference during this transition.
Mission House will give Joshua House graduates a supportive place to live while they work, continue their education, strengthen relationships, and take meaningful steps toward independent living.
Here, men will be surrounded by people who understand the journey and want to see them succeed.
Who Mission House Will Serve
Mission House will initially serve men who have graduated from Joshua House and are ready for greater independence—but still benefit from structure, accountability, and Christian community.
Residents may be working, studying, volunteering, reconnecting with family, or preparing to live independently. Each man’s journey will look different, but every resident will be moving toward the same goal: a healthy, purposeful, and sustainable life.
In time, Joshua House also hopes to develop licensed space at Mission House for men beginning their recovery journey.
Why This Home Matters
Lasting recovery takes more than completing a program.
It takes time to establish new rhythms, rebuild trust, develop healthy relationships, and learn how to face life’s challenges without returning to old patterns. It also takes a place where a person is known, encouraged, and reminded that he does not have to walk alone.
Mission House is not simply a building. It is a place to belong while taking the next faithful steps forward.

Part of Joshua House
Joshua House is a Christian residential recovery ministry serving men whose lives have been affected by addiction.
Through structured programming, practical support, community, and faith in Jesus Christ, Joshua House helps men find freedom, restore relationships, and build a new way of life.
Mission House extends that work. It creates a bridge between residential recovery and independent living, allowing graduates to move forward without losing the relationships and support that helped them come this far.
Rooted in Mission, BC
Mission House is located in Mission, British Columbia, not far from the wider Joshua House community.
The home continues a legacy of care and hospitality while opening the door to a new season of service. Through Joshua House’s partnership with Union Gospel Mission Vancouver, this special property is becoming a place where more men can find stability, belonging, and hope.
